About Sharon Blanchard

Sharon Blanchard is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and has been practicing addiction counseling since 1987.

Addiction counseling provides an individual suffering from substance dependency with an opportunity to deal with the deeper issues that contribute to the addictive behavior and prevent resolution of the problem.

Sharon specializes in providing compassionate understanding of the impact of the disease of addiction on the individual, their family, significant relationships, employment and many other aspects of their lives.

Additionally, Sharon has been a Master’s Level Reiki practitioner since 1992 and recommends this treatment as an adjunct to the counseling process in order to facilitate more immediate results.

Reiki healing is a gentle, non-invasive transfer of energy from the practitioner to the individual seeking physiological, emotional or spiritual healing. The Reiki Master acts as a conduit for the healing energy of the Universe, channeling that energy through her body and out through her hands into the client. Through this procedure, energy is moved to areas where healing is needed, which results in balancing of the chakras and energy meridians.
